Fani Willis was born Fani Taifa Floyd on October 27, 1971, in Inglewood, California. She graduated from Howard University in 1992 and Emory University School of Law in 1996.

Marriage and Family

Willis was previously married to Fred Willis, whom she met while she was a student at Howard University. The couple had two daughters together before divorcing. Willis has not publicly disclosed the identity of her ex-husband.
